With its twelfth release Mireia Records is focusing the gaze inwards: Neukölln neighbors, synth whizzes, and most importantly friends, Conga Fever and Johannes Klingebiel picked a song from each other’s repertoire and remixed it into bliss.

Johannes is wooing Conga Fever’s sleeper hit “Arabian Guy” down into the basement and into disco territory. While preserving the hypnotic deepness of the original track, he adds a fluttering bass line and glistening melody swatches.

Conga Fever, on the other hand, is heading straight for the full body workout with his take on “V”. The warehouse’s sound system is a full capacity; thumping acidic bass is reflected through the corridors. Pulsing UFO noises, ethereal voices and fleeting pad sounds lead the way through the fog.
