Released in December 2019, the original hit all the right spots with its addictive, bubbly riff and distinctive warm electroid charm, cementing the band’s Mireia as a key label to watch as we enter a new decade in the process. Now comes the all-important follow-up: two impeccable remixes from Lakeshouse and Das Komplex.

New Norwegian disco clan Lakeshouse take the lead. Building on their Paper Disco breakthrough releases last year, the crew (who were also responsible for a string of releases under the name BOKA a few years back) pump up ‘Lunar Fling’ with an insatiable bouncy sheen, a smidgeon of rave subversion on the main hook mid-way and an acid build up that’s strong enough to power NASA’s headquarters for a whole month.

Das Komplex, meanwhile, takes us deep into more cosmic pastures with a slower tempo, hazy textures and a divine piano hook. Building on recent tracks, championed & released by DJ Harvey and Paramida, it’s a stunning interpretation that brings us back down to earth without so much as a bump.
